Dear Jr King Alumni,

The new executive of the Dresden Jr Kings has made great effort to draw up a master list of all Alumni.  In doing so, it is our hope that we can keep you informed to what is going on in the club so you will feel welcome to participate. You will find attached the list that we have painstakingly compiled and we ask that you check it for any errors.  As you will see, we are quite short on the number of email addresses for the members and we would like to ask that you pass the word to other players that you may still be in contact with to help us build the list.  Please send any information that will help us complete and improve the accuracy of the list to Laurie Vanrabaeys at vanrabla@lkdsb.net. 

The bar in the hall will be open some Fridays, we will be unveiling the Ace of Spades Lottery, 50/50 and the new clothing line will be available to purchase.  We are hoping you will appreciate the return of the baby logo.

We hope you noticed that January 6, 2012 is Alumni Night.  The executive is planning to serve chicken wings in the arena hall, have a bar and other festivities to be announced to celebrate the rich history of the Dresden Jr Kings Hockey Club.  Please let Laurie know if you have any suggestions for this evening.

On a final note, we are quite anxious for the Ian Badder Benefit on October 7, 2011.  Ian is a Thamesville boy who has just been placed on the donor list for lungs.  Together with the family we are planning to have a beef on a bun before the game, bar, raffle and a dance after the game.  We hope that you will not only be able to attend, but that you will help us spread the word to make to make this very important event successful.

We are proud of all our past and present players and staff as we hope you are proud of the contributions you made to the Dresden Jr Kings Hockey Club. Together we will see the successful continuation of this community owned team.

We certainly welcome any input you have and would be most please to hear from you.
